Victory Family Church

About This Project

Victory Family Church in Norman Oklahoma is a fast growing church that attracts a wide crowd of people including a large number of college students from the University of Oklahoma. With the fast growing attendance and young crowd, the previous sound system was no longer providing the sound quality that would create a immersive experience for the congregation.

As we sat down to discuss the long term plans for Victory Family Church, it became clear that they were in need of a system that could deliver more headroom and dynamic range for their worship nights and still provide crisp, clean sound for the spoken word.

We were able to import their existing AutoCAD room drawings into our modeling software and determined that the L-Acoustics Kiva ii compact line array fit like a glove.  Both Skylark and the church was stoked.

We deployed eight (8) boxes of L-Acoustics KIVA II per side (stereo configuration) to cover the main portion of the room as well as the top of the balcony.  We then used nine (9) L-Acoustics 5XT coaxial small format enclosures to service the under balcony area.  Two (2) L-Acoustics KS28 high excursion subwoofers were installed in sub bunkers under the stage while two (2) L-Acoustics X8 coaxial medium format enclosures were used to help cover the extreme left and right front rows.  This amazing system is powered and controlled by only four (4) L-Acoustics LA4X and one (1) LA12X power amplifiers.

Attending the first worship night at Victory Family Church was incredible. Their entire experience was instantly changed.
